If you could pick any fictional animal to be your lifelong companion (like a Pokémon or fantasy pet), what would it be?

Eevee
If I could choose any fictional pet, I would choose an Eevee, which is a normal-type Pokémon. Eevee is a fox-like creature that can evolve into one of eight different options. I would train it during the night and give it tons of affection so that it would eventually evolve into Umbreon. The reason I didn’t just choose Umbreon instead of Eevee is because I would want to see Eevee grow up and witness its evolution firsthand.

My little sisters and I are playing Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, and in that game, your first Pokémon is an Eevee, so I’ve had some experience taking care of one.
